My journey in accessibility has been driven by a passion for creating inclusive and usable digital experiences. Throughout my career, I have worked with various teams and clients, integrating accessibility into their processes and methods. My expertise spans software, retail, finance, and UK Government digital services. In my current role at Atlassian in Sydney, Australia, I lead a research project on Jira and Confluence software, focusing on usability and accessibility for users with impairments and those who use assistive technologies. This project involves remote research studies, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods, and leading the surfacing of accssibility issues found from usability testing.

My journey in user experience (UX) has been diverse and enriching, marked by significant contributions to various industries. With over a decade in the field, I have honed my skills through roles at leading organizations and independent consultancy. At Atlassian, I am currently working on conducting benchmarking studies for usability across various products, employing both qualitative and quantitative research methods. My previous roles include working with the UK Department for Education, where I led projects to create user personas and journey maps, and at the Department for Work and Pensions, where I spearheaded user research for a new digital service. My tenure at Shop Direct, I led projects to improve the Very and Littlewoods websites through discovery research and A/B testing. Early in my career, at Sigma Consulting Solutions, I conducted extensive user research and led accessibility projects. My passion for UX is fueled by a commitment to creating intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences that meet the needs of diverse user groups.

Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in product management, focusing on enhancing user experience and ensuring product accessibility. At Atlassian, I have taken on a leadership role in managing comprehensive usability and accessibility research projects for Jira and Confluence.
